Ancient Japanese stone lanterns have origins as a primitive Buddhist art form, but they also served to light the way at temples and shrines. Our reproduction of the Tamate Lantern is carefully carved from textured blue-grey granite and will add a serene glow to your landscape or deck with a simple votive. Three-piece assembly. This lantern is NOT drilled for electric lighting.

Note on Assembly: All multi-piece items contain easy-to-follow instructions for assembly, which is generally as simple as simply inserting Piece "A" in Piece "B" (with diagrams to illustrate what to do).

SHIPPING - Details

Smaller items (ie less than 90 lbs) are generally shipped UPS-Ground.

Larger items could be shipped using either the supplier's own trucks if you are located within the normal shipping footprint to which the manufacturer sends its own trucks on daily delivery routes (multi-state area).

If you're outside of this area and your item weighs more than 90 lbs, common carrier freight options are used and we'll automatically contact you after your order is placed to make sure you understand the process, timing and what to expect.
